"Minister of Youth follows maintenance and development work at Yefren Youth Hostel."

"As part of the ongoing monitoring of maintenance and development projects for youth facilities across the country, the Minister of Youth, Mr. Fathallah Al-Zani, conducted an inspection visit to the Yefren Youth Hostel on the evening of Monday, April 1, 2024. He was received by the director of the Yefren Youth Hostel and members of the youth and staff.

During the visit, the Minister took a tour inside the newly established hostel facilities to review the progress of the first phase of maintenance and development works. He inspected the hostel's facilities and amenities, which include 22 sleeping rooms, multipurpose halls, a reception hall, a kitchen, and bathrooms.

The Minister also reviewed the logistical arrangements related to office furniture, dormitories, hall equipment, as well as room doors and windows, to ensure the project progresses according to the specified timeline. Additionally, the Chairman of the Project Monitoring Committee presented the second phase of the project, which includes the construction of outdoor swimming pools and a meeting hall.

The Minister provided directives regarding some observations on the project to ensure adjustments are made according to the applicable standards. This is to ensure the readiness of the hostel to accommodate various meaningful youth activities and programs aimed at building leadership capacities for the youth of the region and the country as a whole."
