Ministry of Youth are monitoring the activities of the High Committee for Supervising Local Youth Councils.
Minister of Youth, Mr. Fathallah Al-Zeni, held a meeting this evening, Sunday, at his office at the ministry's headquarters, with the presence of the Chairman of the High Committee for Supervising Local Youth Councils, Mr. Latif Jamhour, and the committee members.
During the meeting, the minister emphasized the importance of providing opportunities for youth to acquaint themselves with political formation and to create prospects that allow the youth of the nation, from various political backgrounds, to converge on the nation's constants to formulate a refined concept of healthy differences among the nation's sons, preserving its unity, the safety of its people, and its territories.
Furthermore, Mr. Jamhour, the chairman of the committee, presented the committee's works and proposals regarding strengthening the capacities of leadership bodies and members of the councils, as well as the measures taken regarding the implementation of the first meeting for female members of local youth councils, and the preparations for launching the national program "Homeland Majidat Camps" aimed at developing leadership capabilities among young women.
