The closing ceremony of the Fourth Ramadan Competition for the Libyan Youth Hostels Association.

In the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Youth, His Excellency the Minister of Tourism, the Mayor of Al-Khums, and the Chairman of the Council of Elders and Wise Men of Misrata, the multi-purpose hall at Al-Khums Youth Hostel witnessed this evening the closing ceremony of the Fourth Ramadan Competition organized by the Libyan Youth Hostels Association.

The event commenced with recitations from the Holy Quran, followed by a performance by some outstanding contestants, speeches from attendees and honored guests, and a speech by His Excellency the Minister of Youth, Mr. Fatah Allah Abdul Latif Al-Zani.

His Excellency the Minister of Youth began his speech by praising the outstanding efforts of the Libyan Youth Hostels Association, which he described as the pioneer of the national youth movement. He pointed out that this human and urban renaissance would not have been possible without the support of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Engineer Abdul Hamid al-Dbeibah, and his developmental project "Back to Life." He affirmed that his ministry will continue to support all programs and activities organized by the association, especially those related to preserving Islamic creed and identity.

The ceremony also included a visual presentation about the competition and its stages since its inception in 2021 until reaching its fourth edition this year, as well as a presentation about the Ramadan project "Tarrahmu," and another about the Al-Khums Youth Hostel and the development and maintenance work it has undergone.

The event concluded with the honoring of the winners of the top rankings in the five aspects of the competition. The results showed a significant convergence among the participants and a diversity among the assemblies and regions, indicating the quality of this edition of the competition and the widespread reputation it has gained.
