The Board of Directors Holds Its First Ordinary Meeting for the Year 2026

The Association’s Board of Directors held its first ordinary meeting for 2026 this morning at the Association’s headquarters, chaired by Mr. Al-Shaibani Abdullah Al-Shaibani, and attended by Board members, the Secretary-General, the Executive Director, the Directors of the Financial Affairs Department, and the Offices of Legal Affairs, Internal Audit, Inspection, and Follow-up.

The meeting opened with a welcoming address by the Chairman, in which he emphasized the need to intensify efforts to ensure the realization of the Association’s vision of empowering youth and completing the development of youth hostels in line with international standards.

The meeting discussed a comprehensive agenda, headed by the review and approval of the targeted plans for programs and activities for the new year. The meeting also focused extensively on the development and employment pillar, during which proposed budgets and construction and development projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency of youth hostels across various regions were reviewed.

The meeting also included a review of technical performance reports and ways to strengthen joint cooperation among the Association’s various offices and departments, ensuring the implementation of activities in accordance with the approved timeline for 2026.
