The Association Participates in the Global Youth Conference for Change in Switzerland

A delegation from the Libyan Youth Hostel Association took part in the Global Youth Conference for Change, hosted at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. The conference was organized by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and the Youth Center for Dialogue and Peace. The sessions featured intensive discussions on youth empowerment, sustainability, social entrepreneurship, and building partnerships with international organizations.

The Association’s delegation attended general sessions and specialized workshops, as well as introductory meetings with representatives of UN agencies and international youth networks. During these meetings, the Association showcased its programs and initiatives, particularly its volunteer activities, capacity-building programs, travel initiatives, and cultural exchange efforts.

This participation reflects the Association’s commitment to playing an active role in shaping youth policies that align with societal priorities and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals.
