🔸 Prime Minister Inaugurates the First Phase of the “Return to Life” Public Beach Project in Tajoura
Prime Minister Eng. Abdulhamid Al-Dbeibah, accompanied by Minister of Youth Haitham Al-Zahaf, inaugurated the first phase of the “Return to Life” Public Beach Project with the opening of Tajoura Beach, as part of the Government’s plan to modernize public beaches and transform them into well-equipped recreational and tourism destinations for citizens.
During a field tour of the site, the Prime Minister reviewed the beach’s facilities, which include equipped seating areas and integrated service and recreational amenities. He emphasized the importance of providing safe, organized public beaches that support domestic tourism and offer enjoyable spaces for families and young people.
The “Return to Life” project aims to establish a network of modern public beaches that enhance the quality of coastal services, strengthen Libya’s tourism sector, support the local economy by creating employment opportunities for young people, and encourage investment in tourism.
The project includes the development of seven public beaches across Libya, located in Tajoura, Misrata (two beaches), Al Khums, Sabratha, Zuwara, and Qasr Al Akhyar, all equipped with comprehensive infrastructure and modern recreational and service facilities.
This initiative forms part of the Government’s broader efforts to improve public facilities, enhance quality of life, and expand recreational opportunities for citizens in line with sustainable development goals.
