Inauguration of the National Camping Center at the Libyan Youth Hostel Association.

Under the patronage of the Prime Minister of the State of Libya, Engineer Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, the Chairman of the Board, Mr. Al-Shaibani Abdullah Al-Shaibani, inaugurated yesterday evening the National Camping Center of the Libyan Youth Hostel Association. The distinctive ceremony was attended by the President of the Arab Federation of Youth Hostel Associations, members of the Zuwara Municipal Council, the President and members of the Council of Elders and Notables of Zuwara, the Commissioner General of the Zuwara Scout and Guide Commission, the Zuwara Red Crescent, in addition to the Association’s Board of Directors, its members and pioneers, youth hostel managers, and a group of honored guests.

This center is established to be a main platform for camping programs and activities in Libya and an important tributary to the youth movement in the country, as part of the Association’s strategy to develop infrastructure and improve the quality of services provided.

The attendees took a tour of the center’s facilities, during which they expressed their happiness with this achievement, emphasizing the importance of such centers in promoting youth and volunteer work and building the capacities of young people in a safe and stimulating environment.

The ceremony concluded with memorial photos in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and optimism for a bright future for youth work in Libya.
