Excerpts from the Presentations and Award Ceremony at the Arab Youth Hostel Hackathon

As part of the Arab Youth Hostel Forum for Sustainable Development, a hackathon for IT applications in sustainable development was organized, with outstanding participation from youth hostel in various Arab countries.

The participating teams presented innovative ideas and projects that employ technology to support sustainable development goals in areas such as environment, energy, education, and youth tourism.

At the conclusion of the event, awards for the top rankings were distributed to the winning teams, in the presence of Mr. Al-Shaibani Abdullah Al-Shaibani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libyan Youth Hostel Association; Mr. Al-Munsif Ben Mansour, President of the Arab Federation of Youth Hostel Associations; the Secretary-General of the Federation; a member of its Board of Directors; and the President of the Arab Federation for Environment.

This interactive participation reflected the spirit of creativity and cooperation among Arab youth and reinforced the role of youth hostel as spaces to promote innovation and support sustainable development.
