Conclusion of the Local Youth Climate Conference at Shahat Youth Hostel

The activities of the Local Conference of Youth on Climate Change (LCOY Libya 2025) concluded at Shahat Youth Hostel, with the participation of over 50 young men and women from various Libyan cities. The event was attended by local and international guests, representatives from the Ministry of Environment, and a number of organizations concerned with climate and climate change issues. The conference was organized and sponsored by the Libyan Youth Hostel Association and the Ruya Organization.

During the conference, a youth recommendations document was prepared to be presented at the Global Youth Climate Conference (COY) in Brazil. This culminated a series of workshops, dialogue sessions, and open discussions addressing climate challenges in Libya and the role of youth in confronting them.
