Chairman of the Board Meets Prime Minister Eng. Abdulhamid Al-Dbeibah to Discuss the Association’s Projects and Initiatives
The Chairman of the Board of the Libyan Youth Hostels Association, Al-Shaibani Abdullah, met today, Thursday, with Prime Minister Eng. Abdulhamid Al-Dbeibah to discuss the Association’s latest developments and its plans to expand youth-focused initiatives across Libya.
During the meeting, a comprehensive overview of the Association’s ongoing efforts was presented, highlighting several key areas:
• Development and Infrastructure Projects: Reviewing the progress of youth hostel construction and renovation projects, including facilities nearing completion and scheduled to open in the coming period.
• Leadership Development Camp: Presenting the Association’s current programs, including workshops and training activities designed to prepare young leaders and strengthen their leadership skills.
• Summer Programs: Discussing the final preparations for launching the “Tomouh” Summer Camps as part of the Association’s annual summer program.
The Prime Minister commended the important role of the Youth Hostels as a nurturing environment for young people and a dynamic platform for developing their skills while encouraging exploration and adventure. He also praised the remarkable commitment and active engagement of the Association’s members, reaffirming the Government’s commitment to supporting its institutions and developing their facilities to promote the values of volunteerism and community participation in line with the aspirations of young people throughout Libya.
